Biography

Darren is a graduate from Southern Cross University – BA (Contemporary Music).  He is an experienced Actor, Singer and Musician, who, has over 30 years professional experience in the performing arts.  It is his versatility as a performer that has made him one of Australia’s most sought after vocal coaches.

Darren the Musical Director for the Australian Tour of the UK Dolly Tribute Show, starring Kelly O’Brien.  Darren Regularly performs and is the creator/writer/performer in one of Australia’s most loved and successful Cabaret shows “The Carpenters From Kempsey”, which has toured Nationally and throughout Asia.  He also stars alongside Monique Montez in the Dusty/Bacharach show which is touring throughout 2025, and starred alongside Casey Donovan, Hayley Jensen, Paulini & Doug Williams in the NSW tour of “Back To Bacharach”.  He appeared in Neil Gooding and Matthew Henderson’s production of “Thank You For Being A Friend”. 

Darren works regularly works as a solo artist and piano bar entertainer and is resident at the Sovereign Room, The Star In Sydney, performing alongside Deb Krizak as “Liquid Lounge”.    He performs as “Daz The Piano Man” at numerous venues and events.  He has been a resident at 357 and Sauna X, performing his piano bar show in the traditions of the “New York Bath Houses” for over 3 years.  He has performed at The Piano Room, 5 Eliza Street, Royal Hotel Wyong, and recently performed at the  infamous,  El Piano in Sitges Spain.
